High Concept Pastries By Jean-Christophe Coeur-Noire (JC CN)
The award-winning pastry pioneer is back!
Having remained out of the spotlight for decades, Junkies marks the end of his extended sabbatical. The renowned, reclusive and tempestuous entrepreneur returns.
The choux-pastry and cream filling of a “Little Bump” is based on his era-defining recipe, cited by some as the “golden ratio”. It would be futile to refute the provenance of such a famous heritage, any baking connoisseur would identify him. So he reappears, but on his own terms.
He remains unavailable for comment due to his continued self-imposed isolation.
Day-to-day operations are delegated to the management team. He choreographs his vision from remote locations unknown.

A Brief History (what’s known)
His backstory pre-London is sketchy, but we know he arrives in London as a highly skilled pastry chef in 1994. Here he discovers a city arising from the ashes of decay. Subversive and creative counter-culture movements taking music, art and performance to new levels of excess.
Alas, the British have still not discovered elegant food.
But the parties. JCCN gets lost in the hedonism and creativity of 90's Britain, discovering this fusion of inspirational artistry colliding as an outsider makes it all the more overwhelming and all-consuming. He is the pastry king, and his creations seep into the lore of the time.
Then he’s gone. Without trace.
Junkies is his encore. Its mission is to make little bumps of joy available to everyone.
