Pastries that hit different

Little Bumps are elegant, crisp choux shells, filled with a light vanilla cream (and sometimes other things!).

They look delicious, and taste even better.

At less than 90 calories (each) - they’re a cheeky, guilt-free daily fix that we bake hourly to serve up the freshest, tastiest choux we’ve ever tasted.

A speciality from South-West France, we weren’t the first. We’re just the best. If you don’t believe us, put us to the test!

We took to the mean streets around Truman Brewery to get the lowdown from random strangers & see just how moreish our Little Bumps are.

We asked the hard questions:

“How many is too many?”

“What would you do for a Little Bump?”

“Can I hand feed you?”

Prepare yourself for the extreme lengths people were prepared to go to for their pastry fix…

Everybody Loves Junkies

From kiddies to corporates, Brixton to Beijing - everyone who dabbles loves Little Bumps from Junkies. We’ve only been open at our Hanbury Street site since August and already we’ve done weddings, birthdays, awards parties, backstages, workshops and many, many dinner parties.

These versatile Little Bumps are simply perfect for entertaining:

We’re All Junkies

We did think long and hard about whether some people might be offended, but then we thought fuck it.

A few reasons we back the name:

  1. We wanted to be honest and upfront with potential customers; there’s a good chance that your first taste is the start of a new habit. One of our core values is transparency.

  2. The word “Junkie” was popularised in the 1953 book by William S Burroughs, but things have moved on a little - and we associate the word with anyone who’s passionate and borderline obsessed with something. Most people are junkies for something whether it’s the gym, work or gaming. If it’s something harmful, seek help - otherwise CTFO. As Michael Jordan said - “gambling is only a problem if you can’t afford it”.

  3. We think it’s funny and want to make people laugh and bring joy through our messaging as well as our pastries. Things are pretty damn tough out there for a lot of people, and we want to lighten the mood.

  4. You can’t please everyone, so why bother. Day 3 we had an Anglican Pastor come in the shop and tell us he’s offended by the choice of name as he works with addicts. He bought a box of 4. We’re not here to trigger people affected by the dangers of hard drugs, but we’re selling pastries, so get a grip.
